Methods of operating the SUN SL 24 Tape Library

The Tape Library can be operated by the following three methods:
1.      Remote management interface (RMI) — this interface lets the user monitor and control the Autoloader or Library from a web page. The user can access most Autoloader or Library functions from the RMI.

2.      Operator control panel (OCP) — this interface lets the user operate the device from the front panel.

3.      Host backup software —the user can perform any functions provided by the backup software.
