of D2700 SFF enclosures (5), or mix both sizes. The growth of the array rising by increment 
from a few drives to 178 TB SAS, 576 TB of SAS MDL or 192 TB SATA MDL. 

Each storage controller has 2 GB transportable read/write cache. Battery-free cache 
backup with super capacitors and compact flash

Vdisks can be spanned across multiple enclosures

   
Maximums RAID levels variations are 2 drive max for RAID level 1, max of 16 drives for 
RAID levels 0, 3, 5, 6, 10  and max of 32 drives for RAID level 50

    
The  HP MSA  P2000 G3 storage  supports  512 LUNs with LUN sizes greater than 40TB .

The size of the  LUN depending on the RAID configuration chosen. The maximum LUN size 
used  is 64TB.

HP MSA P2000 G3 requires dual controllers w/ multi-pathing software for  non-disruptive 
on-line controller code upgrade.

Easily upgraded  with the support of prior generations of G1 and G2 models, regardless of 
protocol.

The HP P2000 G3 has easily upgradable design . HP P2000 G3 FC, FC/iSCSI Combo, 
SAS, 10GbE or 4-port 1GbE iSCSI controllers in the older models support data-in-place
